Linkin Park Cancels Japan Tour Over Bennington Back Injury

Chester BenningtonHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Linkin Park has cancelled its upcoming tour of China due to a back injury suffered by lead singer Chester Bennington.

"Linkin Park sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase," the band wrote Tuesday on their official Web site.

Spears, Jonas Brothers Top MTV VMA Nominations

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Britney Spears will have a sweet shot at revenge.

The pop star's "Piece of Me" has been nominated for Video of the Year at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place Sept. 7 in Los Angeles.

The nomination comes after the 26-year-old singer delivered one of the worst performances in VMA history last year.
