HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are reportedly planning to tie the knot this weekend.
The couple will marry this Saturday at a "top secret" location, a source tells UsMagazine.com.
"Proper invites have not been sent out, but instead guests have been given a save the date notice," the source tells Us, adding that shuttles will transport attendees to the wedding location.
Simpson, 23, and Wentz, 28, announced their engagement last month.
"We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best," the "Bittersweet World" singer, who is reportedly pregnant, said in a statement posted on friendsorenemies.com.
"Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged," Simpson continued. "Thank you for all of your support and well wishes — it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and to hear it straight from us."
Simpson and Wentz, who is the bassist for Fall Out Boy, have been dating since 2006.
