Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Confirm Pregnancy

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, pic, pics, picture, pictures, photo, photos, hot, celebrity, celeb, news, juicy, gossip, rumorsHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have finally confirmed that a baby is on the way.

In a posting on the Web site, friendsorenemies.com, the newlyweds admitted to what first hit the tabloids in April.

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child," the couple wrote. "This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

Simpson and Wentz got married on May 17 in front of approximately 150 guests at her parents' Encino, Calif. home. Following the nuptials, the couple ventured to the Caribbean for their honeymoon.

The bride recently changed her name to Ashlee Wentz and announced that her professional name will be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
