HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — MTV's hit series "The Hills" will return for a fourth season, a network rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com.
The show's current third season, which has resolved much around the ongoing feud between stars Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad, will end on May 12. The hour-long finale will include both a pre- and post- show Hollywood party that will air live. In addition to allowing fans the chance to ask the stars questions, the party will include a special musical performance of "Love in This Club" by Usher and Young Jeezy.
The new season will premiere in August and include 19 episodes.
"They just started shooting," an insider revealed to Us. "The fourth season will be about what they ended up doing this summer. Lauren and Whitney will still be working at People's Revolution."
