NEW YORK — Amber Rose appears to be taking full advantage of her sudden freedom.
The 27-year-old model was seen getting cozy with NFL star Reggie Bush over the Fourth of July weekend. Rose connected with Kim Kardashian's ex at New York City's Axe Lounge in Southampton. The sighting follows news that Rose has split with her longtime boyfriend, hip-hop star Kanye West.
"I wouldn't say it's over for good," a source tells Us Weekly of the split. "It's always off-and-on when it's convenient for these two. He doesn't go out anymore and she loves it, so he lets her. I wouldn't be surprised if they are seen together again next week."
Another source tells the mag the twosome's dating break is the result of West focusing on his comeback after he famously dissed Taylor Swift at last year's MTV Music Awards.
"They are still good friends," the insider said of West and Rose. "Kanye is consumed with recording his comeback record in Hawaii and had to shut it all off. When he's in work mode, he can't handle a relationship. He told Amber he needs to devote everything right now to his craft."
