Name: Ryan Reynolds

Birth Date: October 23, 1976
Height: 6' 2"
Ryan Reynolds was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is the youngest of four brothers and graduated from Kitsilano Secondary School in 1994.
Reynolds was attracted to acting an early age and persevered despite failing a drama class at age 12. He went on to make his television debut two years later on the Nickelodeon show "Fifteen" in 1990. After the show's run ended after two seasons, Reynolds landed small parts on a number of television shows, such as "The John Larroquette Show," "The Odyssey" and "The X-Files." He also appeared in numerous made-for-TV movies, including "My Name is Kate," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and "Tourist Trap."
Still living in Canada and frustrated with his career at this point, Reynolds packed his bags with fellow Vancouver actor Chris William Martin and headed for Hollywood. In 1997, he would catch his first real break, landing a starring role as Berg in the television sitcom "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place." While the series wasn't an overnight success, it did manage to develop an audience and run for four seasons from 1998-2001.
After "Two Guys" ended, Reynolds starred alongside Tara Reid in the 2002 feature film "Van Wilder," which further raised his profile in North America and established him as one of Hollywood's rising young stars.
