Toon lends, "Right after I came to Los Angeles and started working in the fashion industry, I began working with celebrity clients for different custom jobs."
As time went by, they worked with more and more designers and designers' stylists, and with the help of some business associates and word-of-mouth promotion, they began designing clothing for celebrities and a bevy of industry clientele. D'Voshion's star-studded list of clients includes Paula Abdul, Christina Aguilera, the Osbournes (Ozzy and Sharon), The Pussycat Dolls, Fergie and Garcelle Beauvais.
Aside from couture, Vorontsoff and Toon are extremely talented costume designers. They have done a lot of studio work for Nickelodeon, as well as for Las Vegas shows such as "Lord of the Dance."
Through their work in such a wide range of industry facets, the designers have gained valuable knowledge and impeccable skills. These diverse experiences have influenced the D'Voshion fashion line, making it unique and different from any other line out there.
Vorontsoff and Toon came up with the name D'Voshion after six months of searching.
"It's a mix of fashion and devotion," Toon explains.
Combining class, funk and sex appeal, D'Voshion offers the modern-day woman a unique twist of both classic and contemporary design. The line includes couture, evening gowns and everyday wear for women.
"Our clothing is for a woman who feels sexy in her own skin and wants to celebrate that with what she wears," the designers' say. "She's versatile and enjoys something sophisticated, mixed with a little attitude. Our work has been inspired by the female body, and a desire to make each woman feel and look like a queen, a goddess even, whether she's wearing something casual or elegant."
Vorontsoff and Toon's designs have become increasingly popular among Hollywood starlets. Positive buzz around town has led to many fantastic opportunities, taking their fashion line to the next level of success.
