Brittany Anne Snow was born March 9, 1986 in Tampa, Florida. Her parents are John and Cinda Snow. She is a 2004 graduate of Tampa's Gaither High School.
Snow began modeling at the age of three in a print ad for Burdines. At the age of six, her mother started taking her to auditions for commercials taped in Orlando, in which she received several roles. She has lent her voice and appeared in ads for McDonalds, Nabisco Thin Crisps, Disney, Kmart, and Busch Gardens.
Snow also became a talented dancer at an early age. She has been a member of Broadway Dance, LA Dance Force, Underground, and The Pizzaz Competitive Dance Group. In addition, she has also appeared in many plays and her theater credits include, "Pirates of Penzance," "Annie," "The King & South Pacific," as well as a national tour of "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
In 1994, Snow landed her first TV role, appearing on the short-lived series "SeaQuest 2032." She then appeared on the TV mini-series "From the Earth to the Moon" in 1998, and an episode of the TV series "Safe Harbor" in 1999.
Snow had a popular role at age 12 as troubled teen Susan Lemay on the soap opera "Guiding Light," which she appeared on from 1998 to 2001. During that time, Snow and her mom commuted back and forth every few days to New York City for filming, then back to Tampa for a few days of school and time with her friends.
Snow is perhaps best known for playing Meg Pryor on NBC's "American Dreams," and Ariel, a neo-Nazi high school student, on the third season of "Nip/Tuck."
In 2005, Snow appeared in the movie "The Pacifier" with action star Vin Diesel, and in 2006, Snow was in the film "John Tucker Must Die." She also voiced Naminé in the video game "Kingdom Hearts II," as well as Shizuku in the 1995 Hayao Miyazaki film, "Whisper of the Heart."
Snow also appeared in 2007's "Hairspray," a film adaptation of the Broadway musical, alongside John Travolta. She portrayed the bratty Corny Collins Show queen Amber Von Tussle, who is the daughter of a contentious former beauty queen, a role played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
