The event was held in conjunction with the ongoing 59th Annual Convention and International Exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA). NCTA is the principal trade association for the U.S. cable industry, representing cable operators serving more than 90 percent of the nation's cable television households and more than 200 cable program networks.
"NBC Universal is rolling out the red carpet for Cable Show attendees," said Barbara York, Senior Vice President, NCTA. "We are thrilled to be able to offer delegates an opportunity to visit Universal Studios, the home of great television and film, and one of America's leading sources of entertainment."
