Alicia Keys Pictures: Recording artist Alicia Keys attends the unveiling of her wax figure at Madame Tussauds on June 28, 2011 in New York City.
Fourteen-time Grammy award-winning songstress Alicia Keys is the newest celebrity to be immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds New York. Keys is currently celebrating the 10th Anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album "Songs in A Minor" and released a special deluxe and collector's edition of the album on Tuesday. An eager participant in the creation of her wax figure, Keys spent more than three hours with a team of Madame Tussauds studio artists who took hundreds of precise measurements and photos and worked over three months to ensure the figure fully captured her unique style, exact eye color, posture, and overall image. Empire State of Mind Keys' wax figure is dressed in the custom-designed black leather jumpsuit and matching motorcycle jacket that she wore in the smash hit "Empire State of Mind" music video, and donated to the attraction. She stands in a striking pose with one hand in the air and the other leaning on a grand piano decorated with New York cityscapes and imagery, identical to the one in the music video.
