LONDON — A British man was convicted Wednesday of murdering an actor who appears in the upcoming "Harry Potter" movie, The Associated Press reports.
Karl Bishop, 22, was found guilty in the May 2007 stabbing death of 18-year-old Rob Knox. He could be sentenced to life in prison.
Knox was stabbed five times outside a bar near London. At the time of his death, he was trying to protect his younger brother Jamie, 17, who had been threatened by Bishop.
Knox has a small part as Marcus Belby in the forthcoming "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," due to arrive in theaters this summer.
