LOS ANGELES — "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson chatted on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show on Wednesday, discussing his new CD and the host of artists he recruited to collaborate with.
Jackson revealed that his new CD, "Randy Jackson's Music Club: Vol. 1," will feature a duet with fellow "Idol" judge Paula Abdul, in addition to a contribution from Seacrest himself.
"You've heard that technology can make voices better — Paris Hilton, Britney Spears. There is not enough Pro Tool in the world to make me sound good on a song," said Seacrest, poking fun of his music abilities.
Abdul's featured single, "Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow," is the first single she's released in more than a decade.
Other artists that will appear on the new album include Joss Stone, Travis Tritt, and Jason Mraz, as well as guitar legend Richie Sambora, R&B star Sam Moore, and Big & Rich's John Rich.
The new CD is Jackson's first solo album on his new label, Dream Merchant 21, and will be in stores on March 11, 2008.
