HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke, was hospitalized on Tuesday after she began to experience premature contractions, a rep for the actor confirmed to People.
"Brooke is at a Los Angeles-area hospital, where she was admitted yesterday morning with premature contractions – which is not all that uncommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins," Sheen's publicist told the mag. "She's fine and is expected to be discharged from the hospital today."
Sheen, 43, and Mueller, 31, first announced the pregnancy last August. They later confirmed that their first children together would be twin boys.
The couple tied the knot last May at a private estate in Los Angeles. It was the third marriage for the "Two and a Half Men" star, who has two daughters, Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, with ex-wife Denise Richards. He also has a 24-year-old daughter, Cassandra, with his former girlfriend Paula Profitt.
