HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Megan Fox has turned to her sugar cravings for the sake of "Transformers" director Michael Bay.
"I eat red velvet cake before I go to bed every night," the 22-year-old actress tells Fox News. "And if you eat meals later, you'll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m."
While she admits to having a "serious sugar tooth," Fox's unique diet is the result of Bay worrying about the star being too skinny. In fact, she was asked to gain 10 pounds in three weeks to get ready for shooting the sequel — "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." This after a dramatic weight loss for her previous film, "Jennifer's Body."
"I should have toned up for 'Transformers' but I'm really lazy," she says. "I'd lost a lot of weight and got really scrawny, but I was told I had to put on size for 'Transformers' because Michael [Bay] doesn't like skinny girls."
Fox recently revealed that she makes out "a little bit" in the film with her co-star, Shia LaBeouf, but fans shouldn't expect much more beyond that.
"There are no big love scenes," she says of the film, which is due in theaters next June. "At this point, Shi and I have been dating for two years so we're at the bickering stage, like an old married couple."
