The 16-year-old heartthrob has chopped off his famous locks as a good deed, just weeks after he pretended to shave off his hair on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

"Yeah so it's true...i got a lil haircut...i like it," the "Baby" singer said Monday on Twitter.

Bieber got the dramatic new haircut while on the set of a Rascal Flatts video. The band's bass player, Jay DeMarcus, later shared a photo of the Bieb's new look.

"We are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction," said Bieber. "Details coming soon."
