HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — These are desperate times for James Franco.
With his Oscars hosting gig fast approaching, the 32-year-old actor reached out to Producers Guild Award host and raunchy comedy hitmaker Judd Apatow for some words of advice in a new Funny or Die video.
"This is the year of cunnilingus in movies," Apatow offers up as the two debate hosting material.
"I don't know if the Oscars crowd is the cunnilingus crowd," replies Franco, who will be co-hosting the big event with Anne Hathaway.
The 127 Hours star then suggests that he can use the same material that works for Apatow during his hosting stint.
"Alright, anything that worked you can do on the Oscars," says Apatow. "And if something worked just a little bit, we can give it to Anne Hathaway."
The 83rd annual Academy Awards will air live on ABC on Feb. 27 from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.
