The comedienne is having a little fun with the romance rumor. On Monday, she posted a picture of the two sharing a bed together.

"I don't know why anyone thinks I would ever date a rapper," she wrote alongside the photo posted on her Twitter page.

The twosome, both 35, actually started flirting on Twitter last December, shortly after the "In Da Club" singer appeared on Chelsea Lately. The dating rumors then kicked up two months ago when they hung out together in New Orleans at the Blue Nile nightclub.

"He came to my show in New Orleans with 15 people, and they take a photo of us and assume that we're a couple," she recently told Katie Couric in an interview for Glamour magazine. "But he's really cute, and I have to be honest, there's a good chance that I will end up hooking up with a rapper at some point."
