HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Eminem and Lady Antebellum each picked up five nominations to lead the field of contenders for the 2010 American Music Awards, organizers announced Tuesday.
Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber followed just behind with four nods, while B.o.B., Katy Perry, Ke$ha and Usher all scored three nominations.
Demi Lovato and Taio Cruz announced the nominees from the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. Live.
Bon Jovi, Pink and Usher were also announced as performers for the 38th annual AMAs, with additional acts to be revealed in the coming weeks.
This year's AMAs will air live on ABC from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
For the fourth year, fans will determine the winners by voting online on the show's official Web site.
