PHOENIX — Earl Woods would not have enjoyed watching his son fall from grace.
"I think my dad would be very disappointed with him," Earl Woods Jr. says of last year's cheating scandal surrounding his brother, Tiger Woods, in an interview with Phoenix television station KSAZ Fox 10. "He would probably want to know how he's going to fix it. You're grown enough to get into this mess; how are you going to repair it?"
The affair scandal led to Tiger losing his wife, model Elin Nordegren. The former couple, who have two young children, finalized their divorce in August.
"It cost him a family," Earl Jr. says. "He'll never have the same relationship with his kids. There's always a possibility that [Elin] will go back to Sweden. That distance with the kids will tear him up."
While his brother's image has been tarnished, Earl Jr. is convinced Tiger will bounce back from the scandal.
"Once the dust settles, he'll start being productive," he says. "Once he gets back on track, he'll be right back to where he was, if not better."
