HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Donald Trump is speaking out on the condition of Celebrity Apprentice star Bret Michaels, who remains hospitalized in ICU after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage last Thursday.
Trump told TMZ that Michaels is in "big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great." However, the business mogul noted the rocker's strength to fight, as seen on the current season of Trump's NBC reality show.
"He turns out to be an amazing competitor and ultimately that is the thing that could save his life," Trump said.
Trump also said that he believes the brain hemorrhage Michaels suffered stems from the 63rd annual Tony Awards last June when the rocker was hit in the head by a piece of scenery. That theory has never been confirmed by doctors or reps for the hospitalized star.

Michaels, 47, remains in guarded condition with doctors still seeking to locate the source of the bleeding in his brain.
"As of now Bret remains in ICU under 24 hour surveillance. Further testing this week will help locate the source of the bleeding," read a statement posted late Sunday on BretMichaels.com. "Please remember Bret is, and always has been, a fighter and survivor and is under the best medical care possible."
