HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — David Duchovny has left an undisclosed rehabilitation facility, where he was undergoing treatment for a sex addiction.
"David has successfully completed his rehabilitation," the actor's lawyer told Us Weekly in a statement on Monday. "He is out of rehab and will be starting a movie soon."
The 48-year-old Duchovny voluntarily entered rehab in August.
The New York City native first rose to fame as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder on the hit television series "The X-Files." He currently stars as Hank Moody on the sex-charged Showtime hit "Californication." The role earned Duchovny best actor honors at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year.
Duchovny has been married to actress Téa Leoni since 1997. The couple has two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
