HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — After weeks of speculation, Conan O'Brien has finally confirmed that he's hitting the road for a 30-date North American tour.
"Hey Internet: I'm headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour," the former Tonight Show host announced Thursday via Twitter. "I repeat: It's half-assed."
The tour has been dubbed the "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour," in reference to his famous NBC exit that prohibits him from appearing on television until Sept. 1.
O'Brien's cross-country trek will kick off on April 12 at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene, Ore. The tour will wrap June 14 in Atlanta, following a stop at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn.
As for what fans can expect, the tour's official Web site promises "a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence."
Tickets for the tour can be purchased through Ticketmaster and the tour's site.
