Demi Lovato Denies Dating Joe Jonas

Demi Lovato, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, newHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Demi Lovato says nonsense to those pesky little rumors about her dating Joe Jonas.

"There's been a lot of rumors lately that I'm dating one of my best friends Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not," the 17-year-old Lovato wrote early Thursday on her Twitter page.

"We've NEVER dated," she added of her Camp Rock 2 co-star. "He's incredible, but we don't have feelings for each other in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn't lie about that."

Lovato also said it's disappointing that others are trying to capitalize on printing fiction over fact.

"It's unfortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive," she said. "But that's how this whole city works I guess. It just makes me sad that people are that mean in this world."

Lovato has been living the single life since splitting with Trace Cyrus over the summer.
