HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jaime Pressly is heading for the altar.
The "My Name Is Earl" star is now engaged to her boyfriend, entertainment lawyer Simran Singh, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly.
The couple checked into San Diego's Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, with plans to celebrate Pressly's 32nd birthday.
They have yet to set a wedding date.
Pressly was previously engaged to Eric Calvo (aka DJ Eric Cubiche), but the pair separated last November. The actress opened up about the split earlier this year in Redbook, admitting that the ex-couple grew apart when she was pregnant with their now 2-year-old son, Dezi James.
"When I was pregnant, Eric's job changed," she explained. "He became a traveling DJ. So he was gone a lot. That's how part of the...separation started. We'd been best friends for so long, and now it was kind of like we were leading two separate lives."
"It's hard because when you're with somebody for a long time or have a child with someone, you start to expect them to be this person you had in mind," she added. "Then if they don't fill the expectation, resentment starts to come up. It doesn't mean that one person's bad and one person is good. Sometimes it just doesn't work."
