SEAL BEACH, Calif. — Cameron Diaz received some support from her ex-boyfriends Justin Timberlake and John Mayer at a memorial service held Sunday for her late father.
The two singers were among those paying their respects to Emilio Diaz, who died unexpectedly last Tuesday at the age of 58 after developing a case of pneumonia. He was a second generation Cuban-American and had a small part in his daughter's hit film "There's Something About Mary."
According to Entertainment Tonight, many of those who attended the memorial service wore Hawaiian clothing and leis as a tribute to the star's father.
Following her father's death, the 35-year-old Diaz released a statement thanking everyone for their condolences.
"My mom, sister and I are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time for us and all of our family. My dad was loved by so many people and his humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts," she said.
Diaz has been shooting her upcoming film "My Sister's Keeper," but production has been temporarily halted.
