HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Barron Hilton received a three-year probation sentence Wednesday after pleading no contest to driving under the influence.
The younger brother of Paris Hilton also pleaded no contest to having a fake ID at a Malibu, Calif. courthouse. In addition to his probation, Hilton, 18, also had his license suspended for a year. In addition, he must attend alcohol education classes and, like Lindsay Lohan, he must visit a Los Angeles County morgue.
Hilton had a second DUI count and an unlicensed driver charge dropped, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office confirms to People magazine.
Hilton was arrested on Feb. 12 when his black Mercedes was observed driving erratically on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. His blood alcohol level of .14 was nearly twice the legal limit, which is .08 in California.
California's legal drinking age is 21, thus any blood-alcohol level is considered legally drunk for drivers under 21.
