NEW YORK — Taylor Lautner certainly got his kicks in while hosting Saturday Night Live.
In his opening monologue, Lautner told the studio audience that he was still smarting from September's MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye West famously interrupted his "close" friend Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for best female video. Having been standing on stage at the time of the VMA incident, Lautner decided to reenact the scene to show everyone how he wishes that night had gone down.
The New Moon star set up cardboard cutouts of West and Swift and then went about putting his martial arts background to good use as he kicked his way around the SNL stage before finally beheading the hip-hop star.
"Thank you for putting my head back on," offered the mock West after Lautner apologized and put him back together. "I apologize to you and this lovely young lady.
