Video: Nas Announces His New Baby

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nas has gone viral in announcing the arrival of his new baby.

The 35-year-old rap star posted a video message announcing the birth of his son, Knight, with estranged wife Kelis. 

"My son is born today, so shout-out to my son, Knight," the music star said in the clip celebrating Tuesday's birth.

The newborn is the second child for Nas, who also has a teenage daughter named Destiny from a previous relationship.

With Nas and Kelis involved in a bitter divorce that has been played out in the media, the Queens rapper also urged fans to play it safe when it comes to the tabloid world.

"Don't believe nothing you hear in the media," he said. "I love y'all. Don't listen to that bullsh--. I love y'all, that's why I'm here."
