NEW YORK — Kathy Griffin rang in the New Year with another naughty word on CNN.
For the second year in a row, the comedian slipped up while co-hosting the cable network's New Year's Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper in Times Square. As the pair were discussing the year's top stories in anticipation of the ball dropping, Griffin dropped an F-bomb as she jokingly recalled the now infamous "Balloon Boy" hoax.
"Fal ... Fu--ing? Falcon? How do you say it?" Griffin asked Cooper, jokingly mispronouncing 6-year-old Falcon Heene's name.
"You're terrible," responded Cooper, taking the F-bomb in stride. "Really terrible."
Last year, Griffin, 49, slipped up as she screamed at a heckler in the crowd.
