HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — In her first live television interview since announcing the end of her marriage in June, Kate Gosselin admitted to still being in love with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jon Gosselin.

"When I think back to the Jon I knew — yes, suffice it to say," Kate revealed on Monday's "Today Show."

When asked about her ex's rapid exploits on the dating scene, Kate admitted that it was "hurtful" to see him hooking up with Hailey Glassman, the 22-year-old daughter of the surgeon who performed her tummy tuck in 2006.

"I was shocked, but those things... to be very honest, that's his life and they don't affect me directly at this point," she told host Meredith Vieira.

Kate said "there's more peace in the house now," but she also said: "I wake up … and I feel failure."

The "Kate & Jon Plus 8" star also opened up about her decision to keep wearing her wedding ring, saying that it has nothing to do with hoping to reunite with Jon.

"I don't want to upset [the children]," she said of her ring-wearing exploits.
