HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jimmy Kimmel made an appearance on Thursday night's Jay Leno Show, where he proceeded to slam the master of ceremonies.
When Leno asked about the best prank Kimmel had ever pulled, the ABC funnyman responding with a knife.
"I told a guy that five years from now I'm going to give you my show. And then when the five years came up, I gave it to him and took it back almost instantly," said Kimmel, referencing Leno's potential move back to late night that would impact Conan O'Brien's Tonight Show duties.
The attacks didn't stop there.
"Ever order anything off the TV?" asked Leno.
"Like NBC ordered your show off the TV?" replied Kimmel.
Kimmel also got in a zinger when Leno inquired if there was another show that he'd like to host.
"Oh, this is a trick, right? Where you get me to host The Tonight Show, and then take it back from me?" replied Kimmel. "Listen, Lucy, I'm not Charlie Brown. I don't fall for that trick."
The ABC comedian got in one final jab at the end on Leno, who seemingly took the punches in stride.
"Listen, Jay, Conan and I have children, all you have to take care of is cars," he jabbed. "I mean, we have lives to lead here. You have $800 million, for God's sakes... leave our shows alone."
