NEW YORK — Britney Spears celebrated her 27th birthday Tuesday by bringing the circus to ABC's "Good Morning America."
Appearing inside the Big Apple Circus tent within New York's Lincoln Center, Spears came out dressed as a ringmaster. The pop star made her grand entrance atop a circus wagon, where she was joined by clowns, jugglers and performers dressed as circus animals as she performed the title track to her new album, "Circus," which was released on Tuesday.
Spears later performed the hit track, "Womanizer," also from her sixth studio release.
In addition to being joined by her mother, Lynne, and two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, Spears received birthday wishes on "GMA" from several stars, including John Travolta, Reese Witherspoon, Nicollette Sheridan, Teri Hatcher, Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman, who sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
Spears later announced on the show that her upcoming concert tour will kick off in New Orleans, La. on March 3.
