HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made a splash on the red carpet Monday night for the Los Angeles premiere of Jolie's new film, Salt. The actress says the spy thriller, which opens Friday, will definitely keep fans glued to their seats.
"It never stops moving, and that's the kind of movie I like because I'm very impatient," she told American Superstar on the red carpet.
Her role as a covert operative on the run required Jolie to take on the biggest action film of her career.
"It was such a big challenge that everybody was saying could it even be pulled off," she says. "Anytime people doubt something it's hard not to try."
The film also marked Jolie's return to the big screen after giving birth to the couple's twins, Knox and Vivienne, in July 2008.
"I had been home in my nightgown a lot," she confesses. "It was really nice to get out and get really aggressive and physical."
