HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tyra Banks is coming to the Upper East Side.
The supermodel-turned-media mogul has signed on to guest star on "Gossip Girl" this fall, sources tell Entertainment Weekly.
The 35-year-old Banks portray an actress co-starring in a film with Hilary Duff's character, said the source.
Duff recently signed up for several episodes on the hit CW series. The singer and actress is taking on the role of Olivia Burke, a movie star who is in search of the total college experience. That leads her to NYU, where she enrolls alongside Blair (Leighton Meester), Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr), who becomes her roomie.
Banks, who has stayed away from acting since 2004, is scheduled to make her first appearance in the fourth episode of the season.
It has not been revealed how many episodes Banks will appear on.
