HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — There will be one less familiar face on the upcoming CW spinoff of "Beverly Hills, 90210."
Tori Spelling has changed her mind and will not be joining the contemporary spinoff of the hit 90's teen soap, according to Us Weekly.
"At this time, there are no plans for Tori to appear in the '90210' spinoff," her rep tells the magazine.
In May, the network announced that Spelling would reprise her role of Donna Martin, appearing as "the owner of one of the coolest stores in Beverly Hills, a shopping hot spot that is frequented by the new cast of characters."
The news followed a report earlier Monday which claimed Spelling was leaving the series over a money dispute. According to DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com, the 35-year-old actress discovered co-stars Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were earning $35,000-$50,000 per episode, compared to her $10,000-$20,000 per episode.
"She thought she deserved parity, and she's got a point," an insider told the Web site.
Prior to signing the deal in May to appear on the series, Spelling admitted she was hoping to return to her old stomping grounds.
"It was always my dad's dream and intention to make a new '90210' before he passed, so I know he is proud and he would be even more proud if I were a part of it," she told People magazine.
