NEW YORK — Broadway's biggest stars put on an amazing red carpet show at Sunday night's 2010 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Among the celebrities who made popular fashion choices were Scarlett Johansson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Laura Bell Bundy, Laura Linney, Lea Michele, Lucy Liu, Kristin Chenoweth, Naomi Watts, Paula Abdul and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Red, the two-man drama about painter Mark Rothko and the timeless tug of war between art and commerce, was the big winner at the 2010 Tony Awards, receiving the best play prize and five other honors. Memphis, an original musical loosely based on Memphis disc jockey Dewey Phillips, also had a big night in winning best musical. Other notable winners included Fences stars Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, who won best leading actor and actress, respectively.
