HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tom Cruise may be headed to the big screen again as his alter ego Les Grossman.
Paramount Pictures and MTV Films have announced that they are set to develop a movie around Grossman, the super producer who was first introduced to the masses by Ben Stiller in the comedy film Tropic Thunder.
Cruise is said to be in talks to portray Grossman in the film. He, along with Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld of Red Hour Films will produce the project after securing the life rights to Grossman.
The announcement comes just days after Cruise wowed the audience at the MTV Movie Awards, where he hit the dance floor in character as Grossman and got down with Jennifer Lopez.
"Les Grossman's life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds," quipped Stiller. "He has assured me he plans to quote, 'F--king kill the sh-t out of this movie and make Citizen f--king Kane look like a piece of crap home movie by the time we are done.' I am honored to be working with him."
