SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. — Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is no Lindsay Lohan in the eyes of the court.
The Jersey Shore star was fined $500 and sentenced to two days of community service after pleading guilty on Wednesday to disturbing New Jersey beachgoers, the Associated Press reports.
In handing down the ruling, Judge Damian G. Murray dealt a blow to the reality star's ego when he called her a "Lindsay Lohan wannabe."
"Rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent is not the way to live your life," Murray told her. "If this was your idea of a good time, it appears your recent celebrity has affected your judgment."
Snooki was arrested on July 30 in Seaside Heights. Her lawyer said the 22-year-old was under the influence of alcohol as she wandered the beach with MTV's cameras rolling. The starlet said she was sorry for her behavior and insisted she didn't stage the event for the show.
"I would definitely like to apologize to the Seaside cops," she told the court. "This is not like me. I've never been in this situation before. I'd definitely like to apologize to anybody I hurt."
