HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ryan Reynolds has been named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2010.
The 34-year-old actor claimed the title by outlasting Mad Men star Jon Hamm and Twilight's Kellan Lutz, who finished second and third, respectively.
Other stars making the top 10 included rapper Drake, Glee's Matthew Morrison and singer/actor Justin Timberlake.
Reynolds says the honor will provide plenty of laughter for those closest to him, including his wife of two years, actress Scarlett Johansson.
"This gives my family entry into teasing me for the rest of my life," he told the mag.
So how will life change at home with Johansson, who was recently named Babe of the Year by GQ magazine?
"Now it's going to be, 'Sexiest man, take out the garbage.' That does sound better," joked Reynolds, who stars in the Green Lantern next year. "The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers."
The Canada native joins the ranks of previous winners such as Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
