HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Rihanna is bringing her "R" rating to the upcoming American Music Awards.
The 21-year-old singer has been added to the list of performers for the 37th annual ceremony, People reports.
Rihanna joins a star-studded lineup that includes Eminem, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas. A number of former American Idol stars are also set to perform, with Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert all on the bill.
Rihanna last appeared on the AMA stage when she performed "Rehab" in 2008.
Last month, the pop star debuted her new track "Russian Roulette" from her forthcoming album Rated R. The song was written and produced by Ne-Yo, whose long track record with the R&B star includes the No. 1 hit "Unfaithful" in 2006.
Taylor Swift leads this year's field with six nominations.
The Nov. 22 ceremony will take place at Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles and be televised live on ABC.
