LOS ANGELES — Rihanna is being sued by her Hollywood Hills neighbor, who alleges the R&B star is invading his privacy.
Christian Moeller filed the lawsuit Tuesday against Rihanna and Stephen Yacobian, the singer's landlord for the home she rents.
In the suit, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Moeller claims the "Umbrella" singer and her guests frequently park their vehicles and trespass on his property. He also alleges that Rihanna has a security camera pointed directly at his home.
Moeller, who is a UCLA professor, is seeking unspecified damages for trespass, invasion of privacy and other claims.
While Rihanna has yet to comment on the claims, Yacobian has responding by saying the lawsuit is "without merit."
Last week, Rihanna's attorney confirmed that the pop star has been called to take the stand and will testify against her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, who is accused of beating her in the early morning hours prior to February's Grammy Awards. The preliminary hearing will take place next Monday.
