LONDON — Heather Mills reportedly made quite the splash in the courtroom at her divorce proceeding, allegedly tossing water on Paul McCartney's attorney.
According to various reports in the British press, Mills is said to have grown upset and dumped a glass of water over the head of her ex-husband's lawyer, Fiona Shackleton.
"[Heather] was so angry, she tipped a glass of water over Fiona Shackleton's head, leaving her with soaking wet hair," one insider told the U.K.'s Daily Mirror. "Everyone was stunned. That kind of behavior is just not acceptable."
Photos show Shackleton arriving to the courthouse with bouncy blonde hair and departing with a dampened hairdo.
When asked by the BBC about the courtroom shower, Mills said Shackleton had been "baptized in court."
In a statement, Mills said Shackleton "handled this case in the worst manner you could imagine." The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant added that Shackleton called her "many, many names before even meeting me."
On Monday, Mills was awarded $48.6 million in her divorce settlement from former the former Beatle.
