HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon don't have a little one on the way.
A rep for Carey is shooting down rumors the couple is expecting their first child, telling Us Weekly that the singer is "not pregnant."
The pregnancy chatter started after Perez Hilton suggested Carey was sporting a baby bump in photographs taken during a Saturday lunch outing with Cannon in Beverly Hills.
In November, Carey told Larry King that she was anxious to start a family but wanted to wait until the time was right, noting her busy music and film career.
"I cannot do the having-a-child thing halfway," she said. "I wouldn't be just like, 'Oh, I'm having a child, Yay! Let me get a nanny so I can give her the baby. Take the kid.' That doesn't work for me. I don't believe in that."
Carey, 40, and Cannon, 29, will celebrate their second wedding anniversary on April 30.
