HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — received a three-year probation sentence Tuesday after pleading no contest to drunk driving charges.
The 48-year-old actress, best known for her role in the hit film "Risky Business," was also ordered to enroll in a three-month alcohol-education program. She must also pay fines, restitution and fees totaling more than $1,400.
De Mornay was arrested in Beverly Hills last October for driving under the influence of alcohol. She did not attend today's hearing in which her attorney entered a no contest plea on her behalf to a single count of driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit.
A no contest plea is the equivalent of pleading guilty under California law.
De Mornay, who played a call girl opposite Tom Cruise in 1983's "Risky Business," last appeared on screen in the 2007 film "American Venus."
(Yeah, I never heard of it either!)
