HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miranda Kerr is following in the footsteps of Demi Moore and Britney Spears.
The pregnant model has posed nude for W magazine's December family issue, having stripped down for famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
"For me, family is life," the 27-year-old Kerr, who is seven months into her pregnancy, tells the mag. "The decision to start one wasn't complex at all."
Kerr and husband Orlando Bloom announced the pregnancy in August, one month after they secretly tied the knot. As for the sex of their baby, Kerr said they want it to be "a surprise." She also said that focusing on motherhood is her immediate plan.
"My career has been wonderful, but it's not my life," she explained. "I don't feel pressure to get back to work."
"My goal involves a hammock, a vegetable patch, and a solar-powered house," added Kerr. "And I hope to eventually get there."
Moore famously turned heads in 1991 when she posed nude for Vanity Fair magazine while pregnant with her second daughter, Scout. Spears also did a pregnancy shoot, stripping for Harper's Bazaar in 2006.
