HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — If there's any tension in "The City," Olivia Palermo is doing her best to downplay it.
The 22-year-old New York socialite appeared on Thursday's "Valentine in the Morning" radio show, where she refrained from getting into a war of words with her fellow "City" co-star, Whitney Port, who was less than gracious in discussing Palermo the night before.
"I have nothing bad to say about her. I think she's a sweet girl and I think she's adapted well to New York," Palermo told host Sean Valentine, while only admitting that she found Port's comments "a little disappointing."
Palermo was responding to remarks made by Port during an appearance on the "Jimmy Kimmel Show."
"I don't know if I hate her—she's very difficult to worth with," Port told Kimmel of her MTV series co-star. "She's not an angel. She's very opinionated.
"She treats me like a pet project, like out of the middle of nowhere I was born just yesterday," continued Port. "Sometimes I want to slap her."
