LONDON — Naomi Campbell was arrested today at London's Heathrow Airport for allegedly assaulting a police officer over a lost bag, British newspaper The Sun reports.
According to the Sun, the 37-year-old supermodel was preparing to catch a flight to Los Angeles when she apparently misplaced one of her bags. She then began arguing with airline officials and was told to leave the scene because she was "unfit to fly."
Police officials were soon called in to assist, which led to Campbell allegedly attacking one of the officers. She was then taken away "ranting and screaming" to the Heathrow police station.
The incident is not the first time that Campbell's made headlines with her behavior. Over the years, she has been accused of and arrested for physically and verbally abusing several of her employees and associates, including Campbell pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless assault against her maid, Ana Scolavino, in Jan. 2007.
