NEW YORK — There was no shortage of star power when the nominations for the 2010 Tony Awards were revealed on Tuesday.

Other stars earning nominations included Kelsey Grammer and Sean Hayes, who will compete for the best actor in a musical prize against Douglas Hodge, Chad Kimball and Sahr Ngaujah.

Scarlett Johannson is also in the running for a Tony Award, having been nominated for best featured actress in a play for her performance in A View from the Bridge.
Best musical nominee Fela! and best musical revival nominee La Cage aux Folles each received 11 nominations to lead the field of contenders.
Best play nominations went to In the Next Room (or the vibrator play), Next Fall, Red and Time Stands Still.
