HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miley Cyrus is bringing her musical expertise to American Idol.
The 17-year-old star will appear as a guest mentor on Tuesday night's episode, where she'll assist the remaining 11 contestants — Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Paige Miles, Katie Stevens, and Tim Urban — as they prepare for their performances on a Billboard No. 1 Hits-themed show, Fox has revealed.
The Hannah Montana star will also be back on Wednesday's results show to perform her hit song, "When I Look at You." She will be joined by lovebirds Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, who will sing their duet, "Make a Wave."
Jonas appeared on the show earlier this season when he served as guest judge during the Dallas auditions.
Following her Idol gig, Cyrus will appear on the big screen in The Last Song, which opens in theaters March 31.
