HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miley Cyrus is going Magnum P.I. at the movies.
The 17-year-old singer and actress will star in So Undercover, in which she'll play "a tough, street-smart private eye hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority," according to Deadline.
The film will be directed by Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas) from a script by Allan Loeb (Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps) and Steven Pearl (The Switch).
The Disney star's mother, Tish Cyrus, will serve as one of the producers.
Production on So Undercover is slated to begin in December.
